You hear (read) that? That is the sound of summer, and that sound means we are ready to kick off a new year with our friends at the A' Design Awards & Competition and their 2024-25 campaign. As we often do throughout the year,we share updates on the A' Design Awards, and we have spent almost a decade now showcasing and making "call for entries" in the annual and prestigious competition. You can register to submit here. It's summer, you are on the beach, on a boat, or just sitting on the couch thinking about life, and you may have a design thought that the rest of the world hasn't thought of. We would love to see this.
Here is what we always tell you, but in case you forgot or are a new reader to the Juxtapoz experience... What is the A' Design Award"? It is, indeed, a little bit of everything. There are over 100 categories for which this competition is judged, and judged it is: an international jury panel of scholars, professionals and media members will be the ones to decided who wins!
From Architecture to Communication Design, Furniture Design to Food Packaging, Lighting to our favorite, Interior Space and Exhibition Design, there is a little bit of everything to submit for. Take a look at the categories here.
What are the benefits to submitting? There are so many benefits to winning the award, not to mention credibility, publicity and international awareness, free gala-night invitation for two people to the award ceremony, free participation and space allocation in the winners' exhibition (both online gallery inclusions as well as physical exhibition in Italy), and mainly, you get to get the attention of press and editors like ourselves that can help promote your design to the greater design world.
Each judge is an expert and professional in their field, with vast knowledge of successful design projects that will both help enhance and properly overview your entry. The jury includes design professionals, press members and academics.
Deadline for early submission is June 30, 2024. Results will be announced to public on May 1st, 2025, which we will share as well!
